You'll have a 30 minute call to discuss the scope and deliverables of the project directly with The For a Day Foundation, and for them to confirm you're a good fit.
Once accepted, you'll be able to get right to work. We will check in with you periodically to make sure you have everything you need.
We need a MailChimp expert to clean up our lists, forms, and segmentation/groups/tags (whatever! this is why we need you...). For several years, we have used the platform to build our email list for volunteer opportunities. With 18 local chapters, we have many categories to organize and juggle. You will review our account and suggest the best method for collecting information (either through a SquareSpace form that connects to MailChimp or creating a sign up form/landing page in MailChimp), and how to ensure we've set up the system to correctly organize the information. This list is an untapped resource for us and it's important to keep each message tailored to the local area specified by the registrant. We want to ensure we're reaching everyone correctly. While we could dig around and figure it out, using an already established expert on the platform is a much better use of our time. By taking on this project, you are freeing us up to focus on other projects directly related to the kids. We already have a sign up form created on Squarespace that has been working for a few years. However, when the GDPR requirements began, we started noticing changes and we're not sure how to fix them/work around them.
