Project need

We would like to redesign our website to make it look more modern, interesting and informative. At Progressive, we provide housing, developmental training and other services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of our clients are wards of the state or do not have families who are able to care for them. We work to give them the best lives possible. We are also opening a medical clinic dedicated to people with developmental disabilities, in response to the fact that it is so difficult to find doctors willing to see these patients, or able to take the necessary extra time for them.Though the organization has been in Illinois for over 30 years, they've always been focused on caring for our residents. This year, for the first time, we have decided to invest in fundraising, so that we are able to provide our residents with the extra things they need to further enrich their lives. We feel that an important step in doing this is to update our website and make it more appealing to potential donors and volunteers. We have photos, text and ideas ready. Our staff liaison would be available day or night hours, to accommodate the volunteer(s). Once a design is agreed on, we are ready to implement it right away. We hope that the designer will create it in a way that our staff will be able to take over the maintenance and updates of the site once it is live. We are estimating 6 to 9 weeks for the project, because we don't know how long the volunteer will need, but we are prepared on our end for the work to begin immediately.
