Once accepted, you'll be able to get right to work. We will check in with you periodically to make sure you have everything you need.
KidsRead2Kids would like to provide a free mobile App to provide safe and easy listening to all of our books offline. This app would provide the list of the books, descriptions of the stories, and readers photos. The app would keep track of the listener's progress (rewarding them for every chapter listened to) and provide downloadable certificates for each book completed. We want the app to be fun and accessible to all.
KidsRead2Kids was founded by Dyslexic and ADHD siblings to bring the joy and confidence back to the struggling reader. KidsRead2Kids provides free videos of abridged classic novels read chapter by chapter by kids, for kids. Children can listen and re-listen to each chapter at their own pace, without shame or embarrassment. Currently, all of our books are hosted on YouTube which is filled with advertisements and pop-ups that are often unsuitable for kids. Our mission is to provide a safe and intimate setting for kids with learning challenges to get excited about books. We want to keep this environment pure to enable kids to be able to be in charge of their own learning, directly on their phone. KidsRead2Kids has received many achievements including the 2018 Parents' Choice Award, The Creative Child 2018 Digital media award for Top Educational Website, Point of Light and the founders were speakers at the 2018 International Dyslexia Association Annual Conference. We developed and run our website, YouTube channel and Facebook Book Club. We simply do not have the programming skills to create a mobile app. We will advertise and manage the app once it is completed.
