Review and provide input on user requirements and design of a mobile application. Write technical requirements and programming code for a mobile application to be used to track donations from donor to a storage warehouse and/or to be given to persons left homeless by and resettling after the wildfire called the “Camp Fire” in and around Paradise, California. The initial focus will be on furniture donations and supplies needed to move into their residences and later expansion to other items. Nearly 50,000 men, women and children lost their homes and community in the largest wildfire in California history in November 2018. We need help using technology to track donations that will be given to many of these wildfire survivors. We have drafted user requirements, secured a warehouse and have begun using manual processes to track donations. We would like to beta test a mobile app focused on furniture and limited other items and design it so that our administrators who do not have program coding skills can make additions and deletions to track additional donated items using the mobile app.
The Throwing Starfish Foundation is dedicated to serving the most vulnerable in our community. Our foundation believes that even the smallest of acts can make a huge difference.
