Develop 1,000 Days' internal financial management and planning capabilities. Provide CFO-level leadership on an interim basis to the organization as we enter the next phase of our organizational evolution. Provide counsel to Board on best practices and coach staff on financial planning, budgeting, etc. 1,000 Days--the leading advocacy organization fighting to make a child's first 1,000 days a policy and funding priority--is seeking a seasoned executive with financial experience to work closely with the Board and staff to help 1,000 Days build its financial and operational management capacity so we can achieve our mission to help moms and babies thrive! We have engaged a finance and accounting firm to manage day-to-day activities for the organization. There is deep Board commitment and engagement and a dedicated team in place ready to learn and implement the volunteer's advice and recommendations.
