We're seeking help from a skilled volunteer with a background in corporate operations, philanthropy marketing and/or management to advise on our tier and service structure for the Coalition for Resource Recovery. Global Green USA’s Coalition for Resource Recovery helps generate value by transforming waste into assets. The Coalition identifies and promotes effective waste diversion technologies and programs through conducting pilots and related research. Since 2008 through the Coalition for Resource Recovery (CoRR), a project of Global Green. CoRR is funded by a combination of philanthropic foundation and member project sponsors and is aimed at closing the loop on materials and eliminating the concept of waste, thereby reducing the resource loss, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions associated with the food cycle. CoRR has implemented pilots for sustainable, cost-effective foodservice packaging; replaced non-recyclable, wax-coated wholesale packaging with recyclable alternatives at several food production sites; and accelerated the development of a reliable, environmentally sound, and economical commercial food waste reduction, donation and recovery infrastructure. The program has also influenced policy in NYC and California including the NYC Commercial Organics Landfill Diversion Mandate, and the California Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance. For more information, please see here: thecorr.org and also this project video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBqj1CDhiNw

The project has over 10 years of history and impact. We previously used a very simple membership structure and are now seeking to refine this into a more tiered and clear structure. An initial draft has been prepared and we're looking for advice from a volunteer who has experience working within corporations and can give this perspective. The "deliverable" can be a 1-page summary evaluation, a spreadsheet and/or a 10 slide deck. Once the new structure is used, Global Green will seek the participation of corporate partners in addressing the most pressing environmental and circular economy challenges for communities and businesses today.
