We are looking for a creative genius that can redesign our logo.

We have a logo that was created when the organization was founded in the 80's. The design, colors, and fonts are dated. We would love to have someone with creative eyes look at creating a refresh or completely new look. We run an amazing organization with seven homes that are lived in by 25 incredible adults with a variety of developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to promote independence and community integration. With that said, we are NOT designers.

Funding from the county is steadily declining and state funding is becoming harder for our residents to qualify for. We are looking at a long term goal of how to fund in future years based on the trajectory of financial support for our residents.

Logos are many times the first thing that a person will see and frankly ours is really dated. We are looking to launch a new website (stay tuned for that ask coming to a Taproot page very soon) and also get new collateral materials created. But before we dig too deeply into doing that we need a new look. That's where YOU (yeah, you reading this with your amazing design talents) come into the equation.

If we are to launch a robust fundraising campaign we need a logo that is fresh.
I have spoken to our Board of Directors and my Co-Director about getting a new logo and all are completely on board with this.

Once a new logo is created we will then look to get quotes (or additional pro bono help) to redesign our website. I have spent a tremendous amount of time looking at other non-profit websites to determine what I think would be best for us but will be open to other ideas.

Additionally, with a the new logo, we can look to create new collateral materials.

Nonprofit Overview

Gabriel Homes provides homes for adults with developmental disabilities. We put a roof over their heads and, more importantly, a solid foundation under their feet. We offer the support and encouragement they need to develop their full potential. We distinguish ourselves from other live-in facilities by emphasizing independent living within a strong community context.
