We’re looking for a little help from a grant writer to help us get our grant proposal for sustaining funding over the finish line! We’re working with an excellent, continuing funder who invited this application, and have already done most of the work behind the grant application. It’s just a little more attention than any one of us has right now to pull all the (existing) pieces together so that it reads well and feels complete. EDGI is ensuring U. S. governmental accountability around environmental data. Help us take the last step in applying for two more years of sustaining funding to keep the U.S. government accountable to its citizens and scientists! In this small but critical role, you will work closely with the small collection of the Environmental Justice academics, archival technologists, and skilled volunteer coordinators that are moonlighting from their regular EDGI work to ensure our next round of funding. With our full support, you’ll help us turn our collection of ideas and projects into a polished grant application. We have a funding committee that meets every Friday and has already done most of the work: describing projects and goals, bringing in background information about the organization, pulling together a budget. We just need someone to help us pull it all together into one cohesive document so that we can submit it in early January.
