ASA is seeking outside services to:
Gain a clear understanding of ASA’s market as it relates to comparable jobs at all levels including the Executive Director
In the case of developing a market analysis for the Executive Director, the consultant will likely engage with our Board of Directors. This ED market analysis would include benchmarking to appropriate industry surveys, providing feedback and recommendation on ED salary range, and ED specific compensation management in relation to staff standard
Develop a database of market competitive pay comparisons that represent the type of work conducted by employees at ASA within relevant markets, as determined by ASA and the consultant
Align market pay with ASA jobs
Partner with ASA assigned staff on any action items directly related to compensation and position structure
Assist with updating process and policy for compensation administration for increased employee transparency and to ensure fairness across the organization
Propose an evaluation process where we can equitably separate merit increase from evaluation and still allow for rewarding great employee performance
Propose salary placement criteria based on equity practices
The project will provide compensation consultant services for Alexandria Soccer Association (ASA) and support to the ASA Board, Leadership Team, as well as select staff by providing compensation consulting services per the scope of work outlined. The organization currently employs 10 full-time office staff, 45 part-time staff, 250 contractual staff and over 500 volunteers with revenues in excess of ~$3.8M. Most employees are coaches who provide coaching and training to approximately 6,000+ youth and adults in our eleven core and supplemental programs listed below. The organization is in its final year of its strategic plan which defined our vision to be the gold standard for community-based soccer clubs -- creating a lifelong love of soccer and impacting the community beyond the sport. ASA intends to be the gold standard soccer club by:
Fulfills our mission to motivate youth, build character, and make a positive impact on the community - in every way we interact with the community
Upholds our values (community, accountability, perseverance, develop whole person) through our behavior every day
Leads the industry in program quality and access
