We are looking for help getting our grant writing program off the ground. We are looking for someone with experience to help us learn and execute effective research and grant writing.Retroformat Silent Films recreates the original moviegoing experience of in-person screenings with live musical accompaniment, introducing new generations to the joy and power of early cinema. Our sole mission is to educate and inspire enthusiasm for the art and history of silent film. We are a new nonprofit and we are off to a great start, but we need the assistance of an experienced professional grant researcher and/or writer.
We already screen two successful monthly silent film programs in Hollywood, and have many new and exciting projects lined up, and are working with a local elementary school to introduce 6th and 7th graders to silent film. However, we cannot continue our work without developing an effective grant writing program.
