Our nonprofit has been very successful in grant-funded work in prisons, community-based organizations and schools. We have developed 2 fee-for-service programs addressing police officer wellness & resiliency (POWER); and physician burnout prevention (CARE) -- both progress are effective, well-designed and much needed. Our "Council" methodology has been powerful and effective in a variety or grant-funded, social justice-oriented settings. Our new programs have the potential to transform the way first responders and caregivers sustain their wellbeing, optimize their performance and avoid burnout. We believe there is a path to growth and profitability in this arena that our organization must have to ensure ongoing revenue to balance erratic and cyclical grant-funding. Center for Council has a robust and impressive track-record delivering transformative programming across several sectors: education, corrections, NGOs. Our first responder programs (for law enforcement and health care providers) have been developed and delivered through one-time grants. The model is self-contained, replicable and ready for expansion to new markets. We are poised and excited to incorporate marketing fee-for-service versions of our programming to clients who see the value, have the resources and are ready to commit to the program for their staff.
