Fundraising strategy for art and community centerCommunity Development
You'll have a 30 minute call to discuss the scope and deliverables of the project directly with Chez Fab Arts and Community Project, and for them to confirm you're a good fit.
Once accepted, you'll be able to get right to work. We will check in with you periodically to make sure you have everything you need.
Our goal is to uplift the community by being an example of how a run-down building can transform into a neighborhood resource and a city-wide destination.
Our plan is to be the first totally sustainable art and community space in Baton Rouge. Our vision is to integrate Baton Rouge by providing a safe space to be entertained, to learn, to heal and grow. A place where white, black, gay, straight, rich or poor are not only welcome but valued.
Our mission is to unite Baton Rouge and beyond through creative expression, community engagement, and neighborhood revitalization.
We have volunteers ready to provide manual labor. We have a roster of artists and performers willing and ready to utilize the space. We have teamed up with other organizations to provide Dialog on Race (a 5-week workshop series designed to educate and eliminate racism), After School Tutoring, Dance, and Video Classes for Youth Financial Literacy (A 14-week workshop series provided by WSB), AA, and Sexual Abuse survivor support groups.
Our Mission is to Unite Baton Rouge and Beyond
through Creative Expression
and Neighborhood Revitalization.
