Project Overview

Volunteer will train executive director (ED) on financial policies & internal controls, and create corresponding documentation. Train ED on accounting basics, including how to manage payroll, tax filings, & regular financial reports using Quickbooks.
As a small org, streamlining our accounting will increase our capacity and help us dedicate more resources to the communities we serve. You'll have an opportunity to learn how a human rights-driven organization thinks about funding and finances.
We will use financial data to determine fundraising plans and goals, and improve compliance with board-supervised governance obligations. Volunteer must be knowledgeable in Quickbooks and production of tailored financial policies & internal controls.
