In a brochure design project, a pro bono consultant creates a print-ready electronic brochure that is professionally edited and designed. The electronic brochure is accompanied by print specifications that provide the printer with the technical information needed for printing the brochure. The brochure design is informed by research and benchmarking to better understand the organization.
What activities will be completed as part of the project:
Pro bono consultant conducts a review of any current brochures and marketing materials
Pro bono consultant creates a requirements brief that describes the brochure’s core audience, primary goals or objectives, and all creative requirements including text and design. The requirements brief will be developed in close consultation with the nonprofit.
Creation of a draft direction that provides 2-3 possible directions designed in line with the requirements brief. The nonprofit will choose one to be refined and extended into the final Print-Ready Brochure.
An electronic document will be professionally edited and designed and ready for delivery
to the printer.
Creation of a print specifications document provides the printer with the technical information needed for printing the brochure such as paper size and weight, and the specific colors of ink.Black Sisters in STEM (Black SiS) is building the largest talent pipeline of Black college women globally. Helping us build out our marketing and branding materials, you will have a direct influence on our impact. We are using these assets to build out sponsorship relationships and grow our capacity to support more women.We have updated our logo and brand guidelines. As well as our refined our marketing blurbs. We will utilize this as a virtual document that we share with partners, donors and funders for a powerful yet concise view of our organization.
Nearly 50% of Black women drop out of STEM majors by sophomore year. Black Sisters in STEM is solving for this problem. Powered by AI, our platform improves hireability through live projects, mentorship and learning communities at scale. Black Sisters in STEM (Black SiS) is on a mission to build the largest talent pipeline of Black college women in STEM while preparing them with culture competency, technical skillset and inclusive leadership skills to meet the demands of the emergent workforce.
