MOM Film Fest, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a career development and advocacy resource for mothers working in film and television. Our mission is to amplify content made by moms and create job opportunities that will get #momsbackonset and back to work in the film and television industry.

Through our programming and initiatives, we are fighting for diversity, equity, and inclusion for all moms with a focus on uplifting Black moms, moms over 50, and moms returning to the workforce in our industry. We are proud of the impact we have had so far but are in need of a grant writer to help take our efforts to the next level.

We need a grant writer willing to:
1. Help in the creation and implementation of fundraising strategies
2. Search, identify and apply for grants for MOM Film Fest.
3. Update/create and submit a portfolio of high-quality exhibition proposals, including creating cover letters, LOIs, concept notes, proposals, presentations, budgets, reports, briefings, and effective funding requests that demonstrate the core mission, programs, and goals of our organization with an inspiring voice and message.
4. Actively participate in fundraising, working with the Founder to target new significant gifts ($10k+ from individuals, corporations, and foundations), and recommending funding sources to the Founder.
5. Manage and track all grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions.By donating your time to help support this mission, you will be helping to support the women who are tackling two enormous tasks at the same time – making movies and raising kids. We are a small but mighty team of diverse filmmaker moms who are passionate about putting in the work to help our community and would love your expertise in helping our organization get to the next level.We have applied to grants previously so we have proposals that can be updated and tweaked as needed in order to suit the requirements for any other grants we find. We will implement this project by using it as a guide to continue with our fundraising efforts.
