Project Overview
We're looking for a volunteer to help us save time and be more strategic with our social media presence. Specifically, you'll create a calendar of 12-month calendar of content and images that we can leverage to make managing our multiple social media channels easy. You'll edit copy already created, organize it, make recommendations to customize our content to optimize it for different platforms and set it up for easy posting.
We will seek your input on using tools to automate our social media postings. We currently utilize Hootsuite so if you are familiar and can make improvements and recommendations, we are all ears! The final deliverable will be the calendar template you have created with content and images.
You're a great fit for us if you're passionate about behavioral health, you have a background in managing professional social media accounts, and you can spend ten 15-20 hours over the next 4 to 6 weeks on this project.
Our agency is 50 years old but our social media channels are less than 5 years old. We offer more than 10 programs and services, but the community knows very little about what we do besides 1 or 2. Our goal is to prevent someone from harming themselves or someone else and to destigmatize mental illness and addiction as a poor person's disease. We have much work to do and not enough hands, minds, and hours in the day to do it. To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our 27-page Word doc that has 12 months' worth of social posting content and other relevant social media handles of organizations that are pillars in our sector. You'll have access to a file of photos and logos and a list of our hashtags.
