We are looking for a volunteer to develop a mentorship program and update our existing materials. We hope to find a partner with a background in HR or operations to improve processes and culture by clarifying our mentor's journey and our policies, procedures, and other expectations for performance and conduct in a new or revised mentor handbook. This project will contain the following activities:

-Conducting an audit of our existing policies and process, including reviewing our existing materials and asking any clarifying questions
-Identify policies and processes that we should modify and any new policies or areas that should be addressed and included
-Present a detailed outline of a new mentor handbook
-Finalize the handbook after receiving feedback from our team

We are searching for an HR professional with experience in developing a mentorship program, program design skills, or a passion for helping build our tech hero program. This program is the cornerstone of our organization. This professional will help us finish structuring and organizing, create our mentor and mentee journey, and finalize our tech hero program, our leading service offering. All we require is the following skills:

-HR professional experience in the area of program design
-Culture development experience
-Program design experience
-A professional with good time management skills, as this program needs to come together by April.
-An independent professional who could work and take the lead on projects
-A professional with a passion for our mission! Someone who will step and help a great organization and a great team behind the organization.

To prepare, we've designated a team member to oversee the project. We'll provide you with our existing mentor materials, internal communications regarding the mentoring journey, and any other materials we have in place to build. The volunteer should expect to spend 15-20 hours over 4-5 weeks.
