We're looking for a volunteer with experience setting up our QuickBooks Online. You'll help us set up regular recording, reconciliation, and reporting practices by spending 20-25 hours with us over 4-5 weeks. In our first meeting, we'll share a detailed description of our existing financial record-keeping and reporting systems. We are already using it but are not sure how to classify expenses. You will provide one team member with basic training. We ask that you make yourself available for up to two weeks to address our questions as we adjust to the new software and systems. I would also like help with setting up the budget and getting reports set up as needed.

Dharamsala Animal Rescue is a small NGO, and the ED/Founder does everything from grant writing to budgeting and program planning to QuickBooks! It has been years since I have had good guidance on how to structure our accounting records. I want to have a closer look at our budget vs expenses throughout the year.

We are already set up in QuickBooks Online and in the process of organizing 2022 for our 990. I would like guidance on classifying items for legal record keeping. We already have a budget for 2023 and would like to import it into QuickBooks to manage it as the year goes forward. The ED/Founder will be working with you to understand how to move forward and plan accordingly.
