Project Overview
We are looking for a volunteer skilled in executive coaching, with a tech background, to work with our CEO to build capacity and more efficient staff relationships.
Our CEO needs help building better communication and management amongst staff members. We are a small nonprofit that is growing quickly. As of now everything goes through the CEO which is overwhelming him. We need someone to observe our operations and provide more efficient solutions to managing staff and tasks. We would like a coach that has experience in tech, as it is central to our work. We are a small nonprofit that brings telehealth pre-screenings to thousands of low-income people in Guinea. Our work has helped bring preventative and curative care to poeple with heart disease and diabetes. We are growing quickly and we need help managing our team more efficiently. If we had an experienced manager observe our and guide our CEO we could help man more patients get the care they need.
We are hoping volunteers can spend 3 hours a week with our CEO for a series of 3-6 weeks to observe his management style and offer solutions to better task organization. It would be great to have help for 4-5 weeks or more. With sustained observations and interventions I believe the volunteer could greatly improve the way our organization is run.
Nonprofit Overview
Clinic+O was founded in September 2020 by Nasser Diallo in New York City. Originally from Guinea in West Africa, Nasser saw the ongoing healthcare crisis in the region being compounded by COVID-19, Ebola, and other persistent conditions. Along with concern for his own family in Guinea, Nasser felt an obligation to do something that would improve conditions for anyone who needed access to healthcare, especially those living in poverty. With help from a number of local physicians, Nasser was able to recruit an initial team of doctors and nurses who began working as independent contractors to provide primary care services both in person and virtually, using Clinic+O's platform.
