Healthy Schools International Inc.
Financial audit and 990 preparation
Conduct a financial audit of our 2018 tax year (1 Jan - 31 Dec, 2018) financial accounts, and complete an IRS Form 990 long form. Our bookkeeping is straightforward and uncomplicated with limited carryover assets, no investments, and cash-basis accounting. The continuity of completing 3rd party audits and Form 990 Long Forms are an investment in our future growth. We are a small, all-volunteer organization doing big things in Sierra Leone and Kenya. Our long-term strategy is to build a trustworthy reputation of transparency and fiscal responsibility in order to achieve greater recognition in charity watchdog and fundraising circles (specifically, Charity Navigator and the Combined Federal Campaign). We have a professional bookkeeper volunteering with us who uses QuickBooks Online, and our CFO is a CPA. We have had full third-party audits for the past 5 years and last year was our first full Form 990. Additionally, to reduce pressure for the filing deadline, we can apply for a filing extension with the IRS to Aug or Nov 15, 2019.
We help students and their communities in Africa to thrive by implementing clean water, safe sanitation, and solar electric projects at their schools.
