Project need

Advise us on how to create content and graphics for our first ever crowdfunding campaign on CrowdRise, an online crowdfunding platform by GoFundMe. At the Urbanboys Project, we believe that the BEST way to structure our future funding sources, that power our mission, is to move away from being a donor-driven organization and towards a revenue-producing organization. To achieve that, we need to create a startup enterprise within our nonprofit called the Lehigh Valley Bike Exchange that takes donated bicycles and refurbishes them to resell.

We are ready to go at our end with volunteer mechanics and a large supply of used bicycles. Now we need the advice of experts as we design and launch our first ever online crowdfunding campaign on CrowdRise. We know there is a particular skill set, that we lack, in creating a winning online crowdfunding campaign - we just need someone to advise us. Our goal is to raise $10,000 that will be used as startup funding in this new enterprise. With a proposed budget and implementation strategy already approved by the board, we have a blueprint to start this enterprise in 2019. And we are well on our way in created the necessary volunteer worker, mechanics and managers, needed to run the enterprise. Once our funding goals is reached, a location and materials can be purchased.
