In Senegal women suffer the most severe deprivation in matters of housing and education; in rural areas and in families where the head of the household has little or no education and literacy concerns are often worse. Despite progress, poverty remains high, particularly in rural areas and women are more greatly affected by poverty than other segments of the population. Queen Sheba Village organization strives to assist Senegalese women and girls and ensuring that every determined individual has a right to access education and quality opportunity. This year we continue to focus on fundraising to build a Women and girls educational empowerment social center. https://queenshebavillage.wordpress.com/upcoming-projects/our-women-girls-education-empowerment-center/.
All necessary information including documents (data) will be provided to assist our volunteer if need be.
Upon completion of the project we hope to submit all donated funds to the proper destination( SDFCU bank) and thereafter contact our Architect team to discuss a potential start date to carry out already planned Phase 1 and so on. Depending on the amount raised in totality we no doubt will continue to fundraise to complete the fundraising goal and once the goal is successfully completed indeed our architect contractors already chosen will start the build upon contract signing.
Queen Sheba Village focuses on the well being of women and children in rural Senegal, West Africa. Our education, health and business-building programs help impoverished families become financially independent. We seek to create conditions where small villages are modernized, economically stable and better connected to Greater Senegal.
