Seeking IT Resources on a Pro-Bono Basis to advise and help develop a local area network and other IT solutions
I’ve recently joined a local non-profit whose agency mission almost perfectly mirrors my own.
I’m the new Executive Director with Eden Counseling Services in Castro Valley.
We are very much in need of some pro-bono assistance at this time.
As many know, my personal goal has long been to help create a safe space for all, with a focus on our youth and families.
Eden is doing just that -- Building a healthier, safer community for all, without preference/bias/prejudice.
With support early on, Eden works toward prevention, attempting to reach and collaborate with our promising youth and families before life’s challenges simply feel too big to overcome.
Eden believes in every person’s deep internal desire for healing.
I’m now working together with Eden to create a safe place where youth and families feel comfortable and trusting enough to:
- reveal their genuine desires and dreams,
- share the obstacles in their way,
- embrace the support we have to offer
Fees are based on ability to pay, with a sliding scale. Frequently at no charge to youth and families.
Both Alameda County Probation and the Castro Valley Unified School District support our work and these services for those in need.
Unfortunately, funding sources are struggling.
In these COVID-19 pandemic times, existing struggles seem to be magnified. Anxiety and depression are soaring. Our community needs help more than ever.
Eden is doing all it can and could use a helping hand or two.
