Science Moab (sciencemoab.org) recently transitioned from a fully volunteer-run organization to hiring 3 quarter-time staff members (Directors for our 3 programmatic branches). We see a need to gather with a couple of key volunteers & contractors for monthly staff meetings to both stay connected with each others' work, and to begin to build an effective and supportive organizational structure and culture. We need advice on how to structure these meetings and what to ask/discuss so that we can (a) make the most of everyone's limited time, (b) ensure we are are not overlooking any essential topics, and (c) encourage people to consider and share what they need to be successful -- esp. considering most are new to administration and nonprofit work and may not quite know what they need.
