How to find a paid consultant to help our organization with board development. We have a capacity building grant and need to hire a consultant and want someone who is very skilled. Our current board is very homogeneous and we want to expand in diversity and inclusivity. We need help with education, expansion , recruitment and retention.

Mission to Assist and Provide for Seniors, MAPS Charities provides short term assistance to help needy elders in Los Angeles County. Types of grants to clients include assistance with household bills, durable medical equipment, appliances, and rent, to help them live at home with dignity. Social Work professionals refer needy clients to MAPS intake committee, who review requests on a monthly basis and send the item to the needy client. Maximum grants are limited to $750.
MAPS Charities board of directors is an all volunteer board, and we have 1 paid program assistant.
