Looking for a grant writer to draft and submit proposals that help our organization receive grant funding. The Florida Food Policy Council (FLFPC) located in St. Petersburg, FL seeks proposals for contracted grant writing services from experienced grant writers that will identify, research, assess, develop, prepare, submit, and track grant submissions. This is a contract position and the chosen candidate will work closely with the Board Chair, who is also the acting Executive Director. All applicants must have relevant nonprofit experience. The FLFPC is a 501c(3) organization, and its major sources of revenue include memberships, donations, and event fees. The Florida Food Policy Council’s (FLFPC) vision is to help Floridians unlock the full potential of their food systems. Our mission is to create opportunities to collaborate, celebrate, and advance equitable food policies to improve quality of life. As FLFPC’s resources and program services begin to grow, our bookkeeping and accounting needs have become more complex. The FLFPC is funded primarily by donations, memberships, and event fees.
