We need an expert to help us with bookkeeping. We are a creative bunch, elevating literacy in underserved communities, and honestly, numbers make our heads spin. We would love to have your help creating a bookkeeping system we can manage. We would like to have the standard nonprofit reports, program reports, and 990-EZ form.

We have seen tremendous growth over the last year and have been awarded several grants. We have serviced over 125 students this fiscal year and hired two staff members. It is so imperative that we track everything as we continue to grow. Our programs provide opportunities for underserved kids to see how writing can be used in the real world and how it can change the trajectory of their lives. We are teaching future authors, scriptwriters, advertisers, and entrepreneurs, and we need your help in paving the way for them.

We have our financials in an Excel spreadsheet, sorted and tagged. We also have Aplos accounting software for nonprofits. We have two years of previous 990 reports and last year's nonprofit reports. You will work directly with the executive director and treasurer. We are willing to do the work!
