Project Overview

We are a newer nonprofit organization that obtained our 501(c)(3) status in November 2023. As we are volunteer-run and need professional help to secure funding, we require assistance from a skilled volunteer to support grant writing for The Steven Spectrum Career Project.

*Taproot editor's note: since this listing does not specify an end goal or objective, volunteer applicants should specify how many hours per week and for how many weeks they are able to commit to partnering. There is no requirement or expectation to work indefinitely with the nonprofit.

At the Steven Spectrum Career Project, we're on a mission to empower neurodivergent individuals by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in the workforce. However, as a newer nonprofit organization, obtaining funding is crucial for us to continue our vital work. That's where grant writing help comes in.

Grant writing is essential for securing the financial support necessary to expand our programs, reach more individuals in need, and make a lasting impact on our community. With the assistance of skilled volunteers like you, we can access additional resources that will enable us to offer enhanced training, mentorship opportunities, and job placement services to neurodivergent individuals in the community.

By volunteering your time and expertise to assist with grant writing, you'll be directly contributing to our ability to further our mission and positively impact the lives of those we serve. Your efforts will help us secure the funding needed to sustain our programs, develop new initiatives, and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for individuals on the autism spectrum.

We have a membership with Grantstation.com and Foundations Essentials on Candid to search for grant, but we are overwhelmed with the process. We also have created a sample LOI and worked on a grant that has not been submitted yet. We need guidance on securing funding as a newer organization.
