Project need

Start up nonprofit needs help to develop a social media strategy to help raise funds for pilot job training class to begin late August. Need to raise money to offset expenses associated with launching this class. The mission of the organization is to help formerly incarcerated individuals transition into society by offering a nationally recognized job training program in the service sector of hospitality. The training will provide a career pathway to job placement with sustainable employment to help them become independent and productive citizens. This will help address the recidivism rate in the state while creating safer communities. Master hospitality trainer will travel from Washington state to offer the training to the participants. Two local program facilitators will also participate in the training. Venue (hotel) and training center have donated space as host training sites. Local caterers will provide in-kind food donations for the two-day training. We will invite program partners who will serve as referral sources to the nonprofit to sit in on training to understand the program benefits.

Organization's mission

Re-connecting returning citizens to their communities through education, workforce development training, job placement and job retention services.
