Project Overview

We are working on launching a merch shop with unique designs that accent all areas of action sports. We are looking for a BIPOC designer to support the development of the following products listed below. We also would like for this to feel like a mentoring experience for our 5 ambassadors, some of whom are artists and will be a key part of ideation and art direction.

- BGS action sports characters (surfer, biker, skateboarder, roller skater, figure skater, snowboarder, longboarder, roller bladder, wheelchair)
- customer letterman jacket
- custom hockey jersey
- custom sticker pack
- graphic tee

With a mission of showing the art of action sports through an equity lens, we believe having quality designs will not only amplify our brand but also give us the leverage and visibility to expand our partnerships while generating revenue for the organization. We have a few artists who are on our team, and we want to create space for them to contribute to the work; however, our goal is to be able to pay them. Creating a strong general brand and output history will give us a larger platform to amplify our artists. Help us support bridge equity in action sports!

We have reached out to various established visual artists who are willing to collaborate. We have identified our brand fonts and colors. We have launched a store with Printful.
