Project Overview

We are seeking one or two skilled public relations experts to develop a robust and scalable public relations strategy for our Beat Cancer Party Campaign. Over 6 to 9 weeks, the volunteers will be tasked with:

-Crafting a comprehensive PR plan that aligns with our campaign goals, specifically targeting awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
-Creating a media outreach strategy to maximize coverage and engage a broader audience.
-Developing key messaging and press materials, including press releases, fact sheets, and media pitches.
-Advising on potential partnerships and sponsorships to enhance campaign visibility.
-Setting measurable objectives and KPIs to assess the PR campaign's impact.

At this crucial juncture, our Beat Cancer Party Campaign is gearing up for a significant push during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. A robust PR strategy is the linchpin for elevating our campaign's reach and impact. Your expertise will catalyze our efforts to bring our mission to the forefront, garnering the attention and support it truly deserves.

A well-crafted PR strategy utilizing our official spokes-bear, Adventure Ted, will not only amplify our message but also galvanize community support and engagement. By elevating our visibility, we can attract more volunteers, donors, and advocates, all of which are essential to advancing our mission of supporting families battling pediatric cancer. Your work will directly contribute to a larger narrative of hope, support, and community solidarity.

This is more than a project; it's an opportunity to make a real difference. Your skill and dedication can transform the trajectory of our campaign, turning ambitions into tangible results. By joining us, you're not just lending your expertise; you're becoming a part of something bigger - a collective effort to challenge pediatric cancer head-on and bring hope to countless families. Your impact will extend far beyond the campaign, leaving a legacy of change and compassion in its wake.

The attached photo captures a heartwarming moment as Jeremith and Luis, companions in their brave battle with pediatric cancer, are elated by the surprise of their Enchanted Theme Park Vacation. Their smiles, upon learning of the VIP experience at Disney/Universal/SeaWorld with a week of 5-star lodging, reflect the joy and respite we aim to offer. Tragically, after this cherished escape filled with laughter and unity, Jeremith passed away following his courageous fight with Neuroblastoma. The indelible memories and happiness from this wish grant vividly illustrate the profound difference our volunteers make. With heartfelt gratitude for your consideration, we seek your support to continue nurturing such precious, spirit-lifting moments for more families.

We have laid the groundwork for a successful collaboration:
-A dedicated team, including volunteer interns, is in place to support the project and implement the strategy.
-Access to campaign materials, data, and organizational resources to inform the PR strategy.
-Commitment from our leadership team to integrate and act upon the developed PR plan.
-A timeline that aligns with key campaign milestones, ensuring timely implementation and maximization of the PR strategy's impact.

Upon completion, we will integrate the PR framework into our ongoing campaign activities, with continuous monitoring and adjustments as needed, to ensure the success and effectiveness of the campaign through its conclusion in late October or November. Your expertise will be the cornerstone of our campaign's public relations efforts, setting the stage for a successful and impactful Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
