Are you a skilled Discord Developer looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our team and contribute your expertise to help ChickTech enhance our community engagement! We are seeking someone to help us create and optimize Discord servers that will support our youth and adult programs.

Requirements:
- Proficient in Discord API and bot development.
- Strong understanding of server architecture and best practices.
- Experience in implementing security measures and moderation tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for ChickTech's mission!

We expect this project to take 1-3 hours per week for 2-3 months, but we're flexible! We also welcome folks who may not be able to commit to a long-term project but can help us build a roadmap in a couple of weeks that we can take back to our team to implement.

As an organization offering exclusively virtual programming post-Covid to a community of aspiring and current STEM professionals, it's critical that we create a digital space to connect directly with our community and provide opportunities for them to connect with each other. Helping us realize the potential we see in Discord for this purpose would not just our operations, but, more importantly, make a real impact on the individuals in our community who deserve safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces to learn and grow.

We have an existing server for our high school students that needs some updating to reflect some changes to our programming. We don't have a server for our career (adult) community yet, but we would like to transition away from using Slack and instead use Discord to engage with that part of our community. We have a general vision and list of needs, but simply need someone with more experience with Discord to help us set it up and guide us!
