We seek a web designer with strong WordPress experience to create structure and design options for our nonprofit website. The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The project's deliverable is a draft of architecture and design concepts that we can easily use on WordPress to create our new site. We are looking for help creating page templates in WordPress for landing pages, blog posts, and events pages.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features and web capabilities. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will create a draft of site architecture and design options, including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements.

GreenHomeNYC's mission is to promote an energy-efficient and sustainable built environment and to support green professional development in NYC. We provide sustainability information to the general public and technical education to advance green careers through a diverse array of programming, events, peer-to-peer mentoring, and networking opportunities.
