Project Overview

We are looking for a volunteer who can help our nonprofit research relevant grant opportunities. These opportunities will support the development of the SEAL App we are creating, an AI project helping people with autism learn course material more efficiently.

Our mission is to aid people who have learning disabilities with learning using technology, especially in underserved areas. Currently, we are creating a software application that presents the user with an adaptive curriculum that calculates the best learning techniques using artificial intelligence models. Our project will affect autistic people around the globe. The app will be available to download and use for free from anywhere. The app will be especially useful to people in underserved areas, as the special education programs there are understaffed or sometimes even nonexistent in the US. In other countries, autism isn't as recognized as a reason for poor performance in academic settings, and is rarely diagnosed, let alone properly accommodated for.

We have a document outlining what requirements our organization has, as well as which nonprofit sectors our programs fall into. We can also provide an outline of the SEAL App and its intended audience.
