Project Overview
We are a small nonprofit that is transitioning between two entities. We are looking for a CPA who can help us complete:
(1) a Form 990-PF for our New York entity, which has had little to no activity this year
(2) a 990-EZ for our Delaware entity
We are a volunteer-led and operated organization and want to ensure we are managing the organization to the best of our ability. To that end, we are hoping to engage an expert to complete our tax returns this year. This will be a straightforward, short-term project for an expert! This project can be done fully remotely by a virtual volunteer.
We keep full, clean financial records in QuickBooks and can give you MyAccountant access. Our Executive Director and Treasurer will both be available whenever needed for support and questions.
Nonprofit Overview
At Gabrielle's Wings (www.gabrielleswings.org), we believe in the “butterfly effect,” which says one small change can have a huge impact. We are a 501c3 with a mission to support K-8 grade children of color in systemically vulnerable communities. We partner with organizations to create spaces and experiences like Peace Corners in schools/camps, resource centers to help children build new skills and gain confidence, and Dream Days to encourage them to imagine and soar.
