Project Overview
Liluye seeks a driven, empathetic, honest, strategic yet process-minded leader with experience in grant writing to write a compelling grant proposal for the Catalyst Fund.
You should be fluent in English and able to write documents in American English, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, good at project management, and able to use Google Docs. We are especially looking for an individual who is particularly passionate about: women and girls’ empowerment, anti-trafficking awareness and prevention, circularity, and diversity and inclusion.
The Grant Writer will research, write, and prepare the grant proposal. There is no particular hard deadline for the entry date for the application submission and the weekly schedule is flexible based on your availability.
While it is essential that the Grant Writer bring efficient and effective systems to increase the sustainability of the organization, is it also critical that they retain the core values and integrity that drives the Liluye mission.
Liluye is a global, collaborative community of trafficking survivors, allies, and workshops committed to empowering people. Currently, we provide PTSD trauma healing resources to our partners who are providing survivors with safe places to work, viable trades, living wages, and agency training, and together, we provide holistic resources to help them heal, grow, and thrive.
We're currently looking for a Grant Writer to help with our Catalyst Fund proposal and potentially other future grants as it's essential for us to obtain funding since all our team members are voluntary. We need the funding to scale up our programs, help more trafficking survivors to heal, growth, and thrive, and to become more sustainable.
We already have a timeline and system for our grants with a content library set up in Trello. We also have a grant tracking spreadsheet and other previous grants that we've applied for to refer to for content, project focus, and tone of voice in Google Docs.
After we have received the grant, we hope to scale up our existing Thrive Tribe coaching and personal development program to help survivors heal and thrive.
