Project Overview
Preservation Quest is seeking a CPA, accountant, or similar to assist us in setting up QuickBooks Online for one of our independent projects. This is to "balance our books" of the usual income and invoices and to process our historical financial data (including associating it with IRS-required documentation if applicable.)
Having an ongoing system to track, keep records of, and project expenses is a basic tenet of a nonprofit, but one we've found difficulty in setting up. Budgeting properly means more video games preserved, more people helped, and much more!
We have an active QuickBooks Online License and will defer to your expertise: you're the expert, and that will be respected above all else in all that we do.
Nonprofit Overview
Our mission is to save every video game. Ever.
We don't mean just the games, but the stories of how video games have impacted children, and adults in forms unique to countries like Brazil, Nigeria, New Zealand, the US, and the world.
They also alleviate pain, suffering, and have the ability to vastly improve the lives of people no matter their race or creed. Take third degree burns for example, a condition so traumatic that "few injuries involve more painful and numerous procedures than severe burns."
However "[...] adding immersive VR to opioids resulted in significantly more reduction in pain [...] than opioids alone [...]" https://tinyurl.com/vgpainstudy
"I think one kid described it best, ‘[... the pain is] just white noise.’ He said [while having the dressings on his burns changed.] ‘I wasn’t thinking about anything, I was just shooting snowballs.’ "

Help us save not only the video games that have had such a profound effect on cultures the world over, but to also use them to bring hope, joy, and relief to people who need it the most.
