We need a skilled volunteer to create 5-8 Canva templates for us. These templates will include:
-Instagram posts
-A color palette/design guide
-A few template options for larger print items (banners and/or posters)

We are looking for a volunteer who can be available for a 30-minute pre-consult in addition to weekly check-ins.

Chronic absenteeism is HUGE across the nation and in California since 2020. In our school district, we have 40% chronic absenteeism, which is less than the past year, but has a ways to go. We want to get ahead of the 2024-25 school year by creating a focused media campaign reminding our families, schools, and businesses of the importance of students being on time and in class every day.

We believe we can accomplish this through a multi-pronged approach, including a simple, focused social media campaign that will remind families of the importance of school attendance, get businesses involved in committing to support this by not hiring minors during the school day or serving students during school times, and inspire people to share out why they attend school.

We have a working group of folx also working on other attendance parts, and 2 people committed to planning out 15-20 posts for the first semester. We want to get posters designed and 3 short-form videos created by July as well. We will roll this out in the upcoming school year to preempt the chronic absence rates (that usually start at the beginning).
