Project Overview

We are hosting our first Charity Golf Tournament in October for our nonprofit: Young Adults with Epilepsy. We have the structure established and the Golf Course booked (Pasadera, Monterey, CA) but need help with managing the event. The Tournament will include a day of golf, and dinner ending with a silent and live auction.

We are seeking a volunteer event planner and/or project manager to make our primary fundraiser a success! We are hosting a Golf Tournament in October 2024 at Pasadera Golf Club, benefitting Young Adults with Epilepsy. We have many of the pieces figured out, but we need a masterful cat wrangler to help us stay in target and optimize all of the goodwill we expect to receive from the community. One of our hosts is a retired Golf Pro who lives with Epilepsy, and we have a Jazz Trio again, headed up by a musician living with Epilepsy. If you have a heart for fundraising, event planning & management and Epilepsy - we would be so appreciative to have you on board. We are already making so much traction with our nonprofit, which provides Peer Workshops, Peer drop-ins, and meet-ups to empower young adults with Epilepsy.

We have booked the venue, figured out the agenda, built out marketing, and are securing sponsors, Again, we really need a masterful cat wrangler to help us stay on track and bring along their best practices in project management, fundraising, and event planning.
