Project Overview

Help us craft a marketing strategy that outlines how our organization will reach community members through key channels such as social media, internet search, and events.

We are launching free or affordable Cyber Services to communities. We need support building a marketing strategy that incorporates a presence on Patreon, our website, and YouTube. The proceeds of this initiative will help fund our work to support diversity and opportunity for teens, girls, and underserved groups in technology. This program will initially focus on California, but will grow into many other markets in the US and Globally.

A key feature of the developed marketing strategy will be an event at The University of California, Berkeley, held from August 2-4, where we will have activities for both disadvantaged teens and community leaders. We expect an Astronaut from NASA as the keynote spealer, Tech Leaders from Silicon Valley, and a social media or celebrity influencer as well. Microsoft is going to partner with us on this event.

This project will enable us to reach more people, helping their communities stay safe online. Cybercrime is growing exponentially every day. We can help, but we only have the technical expertise, not the marketing know-how. We need your support and marketing genius to get this to the masses.

1600 Avenue has a team of cyber experts led by Frank Satterwhite. Our experts have worked for Big Four consultants, NATO, the Military, Fortune 500, and Global Organizations. We have a team at Connect Ad who works directly with us and will customize any marketing campaign you develop. We have a web developer and Patreon experts who will execute the actual hands-on marketing work with your guidance. We also have a Community Manager who can work under your guidance as well. We also qualified for the Google Ads initiative, which allows us to run ads on Google for up to 10k per month.

Nonprofit Overview

Our mission is twofold. First, to inspire disadvantaged youth to pursue higher education and pathways into STEM. Our flagship program is the Hip Hop Tech Leaders STEM Conference at the University of California, Berkeley.

Second, we provide access to premium cyber and privacy protection services to underserved communities. Everyone, not just big corporations, should be able to thrive online safely. We currently have launched an initiative with the Skoll Foundation to train over 60-70 nonprofits on their risk and how they can minimize their risk. By providing organizations that serve the community this cyber training, we hope this prevents a future cyber attack leading to a disruption in the critical services they provide our communities.
