Post It Love is seeking a skilled volunteer to provide support in researching and applying for grants to fund our mission of delivering encouraging handwritten notes to students. We are looking for someone with experience in grant writing who can dedicate time to the following activities:
-Research potential grant opportunities from government agencies, corporations, and private foundations that align with Post It Love's mission and programs
-Review our existing grant materials and make recommendations for improvement
-Work with Post It Love's staff to develop compelling grant proposals and applications
-Help identify and track key grant deadlines and requirements
-Provide guidance on building relationships with potential funders

The time commitment is flexible, but we are hoping to find someone who can dedicate 5-10 hours per week to support our grant writing efforts. We are prepared to onboard and orient the volunteer grant writer to Post It Love's mission, programs, and funding priorities. Our team will work closely with the volunteer to refine our grant-seeking strategy and prioritize grant applications based on alignment, funding potential, and deadlines. We're prepared to provide the volunteer with necessary information and materials (financials, program data, impact stories, etc.) to develop compelling grant proposals and will review and provide feedback on draft proposals to ensure they effectively communicate our mission, impact, and funding needs.
