Project Overview

Girls in Gear is seeking a talented volunteer graphic designer to create a 2D explainer video that effectively communicates our mission, programs, and the vital role of volunteer coaches in our organization.

At Girls in Gear, we teach life skills through bike skills for girls ages 5+. We find bikes to be an extraordinary tool for change in ourselves and our communities as a conduit for lessons on kindness, compassion, and inner strength. Our no-questions-asked scholarship policy provides financial support, bikes, and helmets to ensure everyone has access to our program. Our vision is for a world where every girl grows into her most brilliant, tenacious, and confident self, on and off her bike.

Key Project Responsibilities:
-Work closely with the Girls in Gear team to understand our mission, programs, and target audience.
-Develop a concept and storyboard for the explainer video that aligns with our branding and messaging.
-Create high-quality, engaging visuals that effectively communicate complex ideas in a simple and compelling manner.
-Incorporate feedback from the Girls in Gear team to refine the video throughout the production process.
-Ensure the final video is high quality, meets our branding guidelines, and effectively conveys our message.
