Project Overview

We are currently seeking skilled volunteers to assist us in developing a comprehensive style guide document that will serve as a foundational document for our non-profit organization. We are currently seeking skilled volunteers to assist us in developing a comprehensive style guide document that will serve as a foundational document for our non-profit organization. San Francisco Opera Guild has been a vital cultural institution for decades, supporting the arts and education throughout our community. As we continue to grow and evolve, we recognize the importance of a cohesive and consistent brand identity that resonates with our diverse audiences. To achieve this goal, we are looking for volunteers who can lend their expertise in document design and brand strategy. While our staff will provide essential resources such as direction, logos, an outline, past examples, and the style guide from our partner organization, San Francisco Opera, your creative input will be instrumental in tailoring our style guide to meet the needs of our unique audiences: students, educators, event attendees and arts enthusiasts in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The style guide should cover key categories including:
-Brand Style
-Logo Usage
-Imagery Guidelines
-Typography
-Color Palette
-Voice and Tone
-Design Elements

Your contribution will not only help us maintain consistency in our visual and verbal communications but also ensure that we effectively engage and connect with our diverse community stakeholders. We have engaged in several internal discussions and productive brainstorming sessions. These discussions have allowed us to outline clear content ideas and gather essential materials that will be pivotal for our designer to commence the project effectively. Our team has compiled existing materials and examples from San Francisco Opera and other relevant sources to serve as references and inspirations. We have developed an initial outline that aligns with our organization's goals and audience needs, focusing on students, educators, and event attendees. Once the project is complete, we will use the finished product to ensure that all future communications from our organization follow a cohesive brand and style guide.
