Project need

Stay Out and Renewed Outreach (SOAR) is seeking individuals to fulfill an important and meaningful role as we pursue grant funding for our projects and administration. In this position, the individual will provide grant research and grant writing. The individual will provide essential research for the development of our grant application strategy, and will draft and produce grant proposals.
We are seeking an individual to help us seek funding to increase our Healthy Hygiene Program which provides donated hygiene kits to youth in our community that are homeless, transitional, or resides in a low-income household.
We want to be able to provide services to all public schools in the community; low transitional programs, and to foster care homes and organizations so our services can be provided a large scale of youth in the community.

Our program prevents bullying, provide self confidence, and the willingness of youth to attend school regularly.
We implemented this program the beginning of this year. We are a community partner with the local public school system, transitional housing program, and several local agencies that provide services to homeless and low-income youth.
We have grown to a total of 12 schools and one transitional housing program receiving regular services of donated hygiene kits.
