Project need

The function of the grant researcher is to gather documentation and capture the necessary requirements of various funding bodies to formally seek funding. In this position the individual will be immersed in our grant research and grant writing work. The individual will provide essential research for the development of our grant application strategy, and will draft and produce grant proposals.Responsibilities could include:

• Researching available and applicable grants
• Data entry and time-lining for grant proposals
• Research, retrieval and assembly of background material for grant proposals
• Drafting of letters of inquiry and full grant proposals for submission

Our programs work because in addition to in-depth preliminary research on the ground together with the recipients we also have a solid track record of the impact on the educational achievement of the recipients.

Most of all we empower existing local efforts to reach their humanitarian objectives, meaning we invest in the local Haitians to enable them to build their own future. We identify with them their needs, and plan with them the paths. It is extremely important for us to continue to build upon the precious know-how in order to empower more children and more effectively, among the most vulnerable, abandoned and enslaved children.

We have a list of grant makers to be analyzed and all the data logged in our grant management system. We use trello, slack, Salesforce Now and Google Suites for our technology tools.
