Session Overview
We need to revamp our website so that donors can learn more about our organization and what we’re doing. We’re requesting this call to get a feel for what’s an appropriate request/project scope.
Our current website is www.scmugs.org. It’s an MVP we threw together before launching in November and is repurposed from a website our founder already owned, so a lot of it doesn't make sense.
Nonprofit Overview
The Second Chance Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering and employing women who have experienced behavioral health issues while removing the stigma associated with these life experiences. We are a unique hybrid organization with two arms:
1. A social enterprise that directly creates transitional employment opportunities for community members who are working towards self-sufficiency after overcoming adversities like addiction, homelessness or incarceration.
2. An advocacy organization dedicated to fighting the stigma and prejudices that interfere with our clients finding gainful employment in the traditional workforce.
