Session Overview
Family Builders builds families for Bay Area children and youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems through adoption and other forms of permanency. Pioneer programs for older and LGBT+ youth in child welfare system; welcome parents of every culture, race, religion, gender identity, ability/disability, we offer consultation and training nationally.
Project Goals: social media strategy to support a broad visibility ad campaign, create leads for (1)families interested in adoption (2)individual or corporate donors: ongoing members and supporters of March 2022 virtual event
Consultation goal: review current online presence, identify efficient strategies for a one-person development department which is responsible for marketing and communications.
Nonprofit Overview
Family Builders by Adoption is a welcoming and inclusive nonprofit foster family and adoption agency. We believe every child has the right to grow up in a loving, nurturing permanent family. Family Builders educates the community about the needs of children in foster care, advocates on their behalf, and places children with families through adoption and other forms of permanence. We work with birth, foster, and adoptive parents and caregivers of LGBTQ+ youth to ensure they have the knowledge and resources to help their children thrive, and provide resources and support to all families impacted by the foster care system. Family Builders’ goal is that no child will leave the foster care system without a permanent, loving and caring parent.
