At Cancer Hope Network, we know who we are as an experienced, respected organization and in terms of how we communicate. For more than 40 years, we've been providing hope and encouragement to cancer patients, caregivers and those who love them by providing meaningful connection through our 1:1 peer matching program. We are passionate about providing high-quality care to our clients and volunteers and sharing information about our mission and impact far and wide. However, we are a mixed bag when it comes to experience and comfort level presenting in public and leading large meetings. Our team and budget are small, but our reach is broad. So, tightening up our presentation and public speaking skills and working on interview/media training on an organization-wide scale (for both in-person and virtual opportunities) will help to ensure that we are maximizing our resources. Also, while we believe our elevator pitch is strong, we could use an outside perspective. Finally, we have a volunteer group who serve as brand ambassadors at events in the communities where they live and work. We could use support in making sure these folks have the right tools and training to properly communicate Cancer Hope Network's mission and value.
