We have limited funds and would appreciate expert advice on how to set up payment for our interns. We are a new nonprofit and have not set up a formal payroll system; we wonder if payment for this internship should be offered in the form of a one-time stipend instead of bi-weekly payments.

CreatorsCircle plans to sponsor our first part-time (paid) Social Media Summer Intern this year. This opportunity is designed for a high school student from a historically underserved community who is interested in learning about a career in digital marketing and social media -- with a focus on using social media for good. This opportunity is in line with our organization's mission to provide marginalized youth with opportunities to explore purpose-driven career paths.

It is also a unique opportunity for high school students to receive 1:1 mentorship and gain skills that will support their personal and professional growth in high school, college, and beyond.

The internship will provide the student with a paid opportunity to gain the following:
- Understanding of the greater "impact ecosystem"
- High-level exploration of career paths in digital marketing and social media
- Knowledge and implementation of social media best practices
