Session Overview

Hello. We are a brand new nonprofit and I'm basically wearing all the hats alone and paying all out of pocket. We have several programs starting and in the works, and are about to reach out to sponsors. I have several questions about guidelines for nonprofits in regard to income... the income that supports our mission vs what programs we are offering for free. We have several ideas but are unclear on what IRS allows. For example, can we link to sponsors or sales outside our website? Basically, we need help clarifying compliance on several ideas we are playing with.

Nonprofit Overview

To increase diversity and inclusion within Pelvic Health services and education. We take a sex-positive approach with a focus on LGBTQIA+ populations who lack support within healthcare systems, especially regarding sensitive pelvic health concerns. Pelvic health encompasses our overall well-being and quality of life. Our pelvic region plays a vital role in various bodily functions, including urinary and bowel control, sexual pleasure, and reproductive health. Unfortunately, many individuals, especially those within the LGBTQIA+ community, may lack understanding of their pelvic health due to limited access to healthcare and a lack of inclusive education in healthcare.

By learning about their pelvic health, LGBTQIA+ individuals can better prevent and manage dysfunction while fostering a sense of dignity, confidence, and empowerment. Pelvic health is essential for everyone's overall physical, emotional, and sexual well-being.

Pelvic Sanctuary offers a range of educational resources, workshops, and training programs focused on pelvic health for LGBTQ individuals. We aim to increase awareness and understanding of pelvic health issues, including but not limited to pelvic floor disorders, sexual health, and gender-affirming care. Our stellar team of educators provides a safe and inclusive environment for learning
